While I don't disagree with the above, I find myself enjoying it a fair bit. As I said before, paying such an obvious tribute to a band is always going to be a limitation...but I'm curious to see where they go next. If they manage to build on this and develop their sound, there might be something interesting in store...

My favorite Testament!

Definitely wouldn’t say it’s my favourite but weirdly for a classic thrash band, I prefer their latter output, from the late 90s onwards.

The Night Eternal - Fatale

Came out today, it's the second full-length from this German band. Think Tribulation with clean vocals, Idle Hands/Unto Others or In Solitude's last album (Sister). They do kinda commit to one mood for the duration of the record, but the whole thing has a dark, catchy metal energy to it that I enjoyed. Fans of the bands above might want to check it out.
