Nothing groundbreaking, but real easy on the ears.

This is indeed very tasty! Knew nothing of this band and I see they've been around for...40+ years?!

Nothing groundbreaking, but real easy on the ears.

Playing it now, digging it. Production is great, the vocalist is great, nice guitar crunch. Love the solo in Wheels Of Fire.  :metal

Yeah, the guitarist is a beast. The solo in Blood Brothers is fucking ridiculous.

Brent turned us on to these guys years ago I think in one of his early podcasts.

Indeed he did.  He sent them to me in a roulette too.  I've ended up buying their re-recorded best of a couple years back which was excellent.  I'll have to try and get around to this one too.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

Sylosis- Cycle of suffering

Just discovered this band today and wow I’m blown away. British bands really are amazing. It’s heavy yet there’s a lot of emotion in there music which I love on the first spin.
Funny how everything was Roses
When we held on to the Guns
Just because you're winnin'
Don't mean you're the lucky one

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Went to Roadburn festival this weekend and saw the new Bell Witch album being played live on the day of the digital release.

One song, 83 minutes, a packed venue with 3.000 people, completely silent. Great to see this is still possible in 2023.
Goosebumps.

So:
Bell Witch - Future's Shadow Part 1 - The Clandestine Gate

Also:
Wayfarer - A Romance With Violence
Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence
Ad Nauseam - Imperative Imperceptible Impulse - Another Roadburn show. Avantgarde metal a la Ulcerate for those who like dissonance and extremely complicated drum patterns

Coming back to say I'm REALLY enjoying this. Yes, nothing groundbreaking, but it sounds great. And yes, the guitar work is phenomenal.

Not seeing this on Amazon...but will check it out on YT  :tup

Train - Drops Of Jupiter

Say what you will about Train but this album is pretty solid and "Getaway" is a particularly awesome track
