I listened to Scorched again today, it's got some really good tunes. The crew really knows how to churn these albums out. I also listened to Ironbound today and that album destroys.

I only learned today that Sebastian Marino who played on Killing Kind, From the Underground and Below and Necrshine died earlier this year due to a heart attack. Reminds of the time Blitz had his stroke.

God, Happy Hardcore was the worst. When I was like 12, every damn kid in my class was listening to this shit. I wasn't really into music back then, but I knew that music was lame as hell.

Anyway, I'd be trying to work out what the fuck sort of game I'd be playing.

I'm always up for listening to new shit and this is intriguing. You think I'll actually like it?

The whole album's done in that 16-bit Sega Genesis sound, though there's some mixing techniques and sounds sprinkled throughout that feel a bit more modern than what the system would actually be able to handle. The album's short but utilizes that sound well I think, and the songs hit that balance between sounding like video game music but also being enjoyable listens on their own.

If you have absolutely zero nostalgia for video game music from that era I don't know how much enjoyment you'd get from it, but otherwise I think it's worth a listen!

Yea definitely worth a go. Some of my favourite soundtracks are from that era! Final Fantasy VI anyone?
