Lucy Rose - No Words Left

Halfway through this album and it's fantastic. Might be my favorite album this year (album came out in 2019).

Not sure why I picked it. I pulled up Anthrax on Spotify and just decided on that. As far as it and Worship Music, I think they're both relatively even.

I see Portnoy mentioned this band and that he liked the album. I gave it a spin. The Rush influence is in your face but it does have a charm. I've now given the album a couple of listens and it is really growing on me. Also Nick, I agree about the vocals, definitely a bit of Ozzy in there.

Great band! I would say most old school punk can be offensive but these days it doesn't take much to offend people sadly.

It's not that I'm offended as such. It's just I find it hard now, to listen to overly misogynistic songs/bands, regardless of how good the music is. It's especially difficult if they are also referencing sex with underage girls. It just gives me the ick and ruins the enjoyment I used to get from the band.

I just don't take it serious. I love watching slasher flicks but it doesn't mean I would actually enjoy watching people get raped and slaughtered if you get my drift.
