You know, despite the fact they are fellow countrymen (not that it should matter  :)), I have heard very little of their stuff...I suppose I should remedy that...

I would love to hear your thoughts. I would start with Era and Red Silent Tides. But all of their stuff is great. :metal

Band is Imperial Circus Dead Decadence...no idea on the album name cause it's in Japanese, but man this is some brutal stuff... just stumbled across it, a really competent blend of various genres all with a death edge. Very promising.

I want to share a very personal and excellent demo. My friend Bill Rogers who briefly sang with DT, rehearsed with them and recorded some demos that Bill and I sadly don't have anymore. The only reason they were never included in the official demo bootleg series is because they couldn't get in touch with Bill for permission. They loved his voice and he totally crushed on Status Seeker, Killing Hand and Fortune in Lies. On Images & Words liner notes they thanked Bill and his then manager Hans. Anyway, one of Bills bands right after this recorded an absolute gem of a demo. I remastered it and would love to share it with all of you. I uploaded it to wetransfer for you. Feedback would be excellent! Traditional power prog metal. Enjoy!  :)

No, not me  :)

Although I have been reading of their release from 2022 (not the one lonestar posted, I think), so I've checked out a few songs and they are over-the-top nuts  But very impressive (it's 72 minutes long, though!)

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Wow, this is excellent. Reminds me of classic (No Exit Era) Fates Warning. On my second listen now.
Bill sounds a lot like Ray Alder in some of those high notes, especially in Apathy. He has quite a range.

On my way home...my 2022 AOTY!

Saw it at the store and remembered you mentioning it was your 2022 AOTY so I bought it. Will give it a listen soon.  :tup

Cool! I really love this album. Some old school Def Leppard vibes.

I loved it on first listen! I think my favorite song so far is Aurora, I just love the chorus. I even liked Hungry for Your Heart though it is clearly the weakest song.

Hysteria is actually the only Def Leppard album I’ve listened to so I guess I’ll check out some of their earlier albums.

Aurora is a great tune. Love the breakdown for the solo and haw it rejoins the song.

Yeah, this album sits right between High n Dry and Pyromania.
