I haven't listened to this in full for years, usually just hitting up my favorite tunes.  I'm halfway through disc 2 now and forgot how awesome this album is.  His band on the Resurrection tour was amazingly good, and Halford sounds amazing.  He was so godly during that era (and yeah, I know this album has plenty of studio magic too).

I love that they included 3 songs from Fight and studio/soundcheck takes of Light Comes out of Black and The One You Love to Hate, but the best part is definitely on disc 2 when they rip through a bunch of Priest songs.

The version of the bonus track Sad Wings (live or not), is one of my fav ever halford performances.  Absolutely rips!
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

i tried listening to the elmo album after seeing it hyped up a bunch and it just confirms that the modern prog metal scene is decisively not for me  :lol
wasn't bad or anything i was mostly just bored by it

Elmo!  :lol Being that it's modern Prog Metal, I enjoy it for what it is. Nothing earth shattering by any means but I think it's worth a spin as it is very well done.

Finally getting round to this. It's as you've both pretty much described, but man they are blatantly ripping off Haken at times. It scratches that itch with a Haken sound the band hasn't had for a good while though. Solid stuff.

U2 - Zooropa

This album is as uninspiring as its reputation suggests.
