Released very early 2023, this apparently is a one man project with guests. It's all guitar based instrumental music, but neither overly riffy or shreddy. Just all around pleasant.
Seems the guy has a number of albums already. Will be checking out.

Really digging this.

Aether Realm's Tarot is such a neat melodic death metal album...overlong, for sure, but full of ridiculously sharp hooks.

Any fans of Burst here? Lazarus Bird is their (as of today) most recent album, dating all the way back to 2008. From Sweden, by then their sound was not terribly far from Mastodon's proggier songs, but with less sludge and more Northern European "coldness", and a generous sprinkle of post-metal. (We Watched) The Silver Rain is a fantastic song, highly recommended.

I think I've listened to Redneck Vikings only once...I actually don't remember disliking it, so I should probably revisit...

Haven't heard this one yet but Redneck Vikings From Hell is excellent.

That Crimfall album is very good...from Finland, came out in 2017, it's power-adjacent metal with a good amount of orchestration and some folk influences. Great, powerful female vocals, some male harsh vocals, but the music never really gets extreme. Beautiful melodies, good amount of drama, and (for the most part) devoid of "cheese"  ;)

Blind-bought the 25th Anniversary Edition 3 CD box set. Glad I did because it’s a very good album. Inspired me to listen to some of their classic albums (Dookie, Insomniac and American Idiot) and I really enjoyed all of them. Of course I already knew a lot of their songs but I had never listened to a full album.

Yeah, I can't believe how good she still sounds in her 60s.
