Marcela Bovio - The Patreon cover album

A wonderful little gem that Marcela has been doing for her patreons.
We got to suggest and vote for which songs she would do.
Now it's finally here and was her Christmas precent to us all.
It's a very eclectic collection.
At the moment listening to Dragon On The Sea (Ayreon) next up is Je ne regrette rien.... then we have Cloudbusting (Kate Bush)

The amount of stuff locked behind those sort of paywalls has become really vexing.  You can't even find about their existence through most normal channels, so you can't even buy them like you would a normal product, or even find out details about what is being offered.  You have to be a mega superfan of a particular artist.

It doesn't feel like 40 minutes plus it keeps your attention right to the climax, so it ticks all the boxes.

Yea it does flow well together. Interesting to know but on the album version it's one track but on spotify it's 7 parts.

Djent is not dead when it's this good.  Somewhere in the Jinjer/Spiritbox matrix, but definitely its own thing.  "Absorber" has a tremendous build for only 3:31.

@ Glassah...Blasted this one out tonight. Loved Prison Of Time and The Ritual, which had a fantastic breakdown. Reminded me of King Diamond.

Loved the underlying guitars in these songs. Liar fucking rules, and Driving Into Darkness is incredible!

Classic Heavy Metal that is right in my wheelhouse.
