Looking forward to your review :corn

Better than Sleep Token / 10
Definitely not the worst thing I've heard but I probably won't be listening to it again. :lol The first five songs were at least... engagingly weird but after that I kinda just wanted to turn it off.

Man, I think the second half is where the album gets really good. At least we can agree it’s better than Sleep Token.

New black metal-ish side project from current and past members of Crippled Black Phoenix. Definitely worth a spin  :metal

I mean, anything associated with Crippled Black Phoenix has to be good, they did well for Luke in an earlier round for me.

Anyways, if you've heard Úpal guess I gotta send something else for your 2023 round. :P
if it's any consolation, relistening to this one and yeah this would not score particularly well, this specific brand of avant black metal isn't quite as much my thing  :lol idk it's all just an indistinguishable wall of dissonant riffing to my ears. all sounds the saaaaame

@Buddy listen to victory over the sun or else  :corn
kostnatění and thantifaxath are getting a lot of the acclaim and like, yeah, they're good
but victory over the sun absolutely clears both of them
I'm actually really enjoying that Thantifaxath album. It's nothing groundbreaking, but it is good.
aka Puppies_On_Acid
I peed next to Ian Mosley and Mark Kelly
Derek Sherinian probably stands 10 feet away from the urinal, shoots from downtown, and announces loudly that he's making history.

Don’t worry, I’m sure whatever I send instead won’t score particularly well either. :neverusethis:

How much of the album tops the Dragon intro so far? That intro is the best thing about the two latest singles, hands down.

I have not heard Dragon yet, I’m in the middle of Witchcraft right now.
Really digging it so far. It’s a blur of ripping fast riffs and time signatures that I cannot follow. Definitely  veers more into progressive metal than thrash for the most part.

This is good to hear, I’d rather that than Infest 2.0. I’ve heard it’s more like Polygonwanaland meets Infest. Bring it  :metal
