Wings of Steel - Gates of Twilight

Has anyone heard this? It's quite interesting - not necessarily what you'd expect from the name and cover art. Lots of 80s Queensryche and Crimson Glory, with the occasional oddball tune (e.g. the bluesy hair metal in Leather and Lace). Very well produced and with great vocals and guitar work. I believe it's a debut, so that's promising...

Actually, I've never heard California Breed, so I pulled them up on Spotify and saw Hughes' picture.

The singing style is a bit different for Hughes, and listening, Reaper does have a point. :lol
