Vulfpeck - Schvitz
I just discovered this album (and them, by extension), I was very pleasantly surprised.

I went through most of my Christmas presents today, and so it was:

What did you think of these?

I was a fan of Sumerlands first album and I loved this one as well. The new vocalist fits perfectly and the album is a lot of fun.

Loud Arriver was a solid album. Love the production on the instruments but I wish the vocals were bumped up more in the mix.

A-Z was pretty much what I expected. Ray Alder is one of my favorite vocalists and I haven't disliked an album with him on it yet.

I have similar feelings...loved Sumerlands' debut, and I felt that this one, while somewhat different, was pretty much as good. Agreed on the vocalist.

Yep, A-Z sounded more or less as expected, but I have to say the quality of the songwriting itself went beyond my expectations. Excellent stuff.

Top three TAComendations are Black Pants Magic, The Tiger, and Aurora.

A Walk Of Titans could've come right off of Pyromania.

The only skippable track is Hungry For Your Heart (WTF?  :lol)

Miss you Mom  :heart This album is one of my favorite albums ever. When it came out in 1980, when I was 10, my mother used to play this at home and dance around the living room (I can still see it) and I loved every song. I have been playing this all day thinking of her. I lost her this past Mother's Day and this is my first Holiday season without parents and its extremely difficult.  :heart

Thank you kindly ❤. Yes, Barry wrote most of the songs with Robin. A truly epic album. Check out the last tune "Make It Like A Memory", the dynamics and instrumentation are impressive! Beautiful guitar solo too.
