you beat me to it
(see song 22 below)
25 Trampled Under Foot #4 great driving beat for a great driving song. Inspired Roger Taylor’s ‘I’m In Love With My Car’, so it’s gotta be good, right?
. On my favorite LZ album side, and Top Five ever (non Queen, that is)
24 The Rover NR I listened to Side One of PG almost as much as Side Two. My third oversight of the countdown.
23 In My Time of Dying #30 short story semi long: In Michigan, February 13, ’99, right after the Clinton impeachment vote, I head out to buy some flowers for Valentine’s Day. It was so nice out that I’d golfed a few holes that morning. Heading NB, I ended up in a white out, driving 5 MPH, and then I saw a jacknifed semi about thirty feet ahead. I put the car in neutral, laid down on my side, got bumped twice, and my car ended up in a gulley of a median. I ran over to the SB railing….and listened to the next 90 or so accidents of the 125 cars hit each other. An hour or so later, I clear out the snow by the exhaust, start my car to warm up, turn my stereo back on, and this song was on the cassette I had been listening to five minutes before this all happened.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/363084591133I listened to Sides One and Two last week on a trip. Man, did it seem weird to hear this song while driving.
22 The Battle of Evermore #38 its on IV. ‘nuff said Took a while to get used to hearing it before ‘Stairway’ after all those years of it coming after 'Misty Mountain Hop'
https://www.ebay.com/itm/175558815902?hash=item28e01ef09e:g:kjAAAOSwz-ljl3P8I found this a week or so ago. It has the songs in order, but does the 'fade out / fade in' for Stairway. Ouch!!!
