The new Mars Volta album has a song called "Que Dios Te Maldiga, Corazón" ('God Curse You, Sweetheart').

It's fantastic, and under 2 (two!) minutes.

Strawberry Fields Forever - The Beatles
and perhaps Yesterday, Helter Skelter, Across The Universe
Somebody To Love - Queen
the Montreal, Milton Keynes, and Wembley versions of 'We Are The Champions
Bridge Over Troubled Water - Simon and Garfunkel
Hello! Hooray! - Alice Cooper

and....since each song is less than five minutes, these qualify, correct? (even though together they total 5:12)
Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End - The Beatles

I'm cheating once again, but since this song is only 24 seconds too long, I'm including it!

King Crimson - Sleepless

That Tony Levin bassline is the definition of epic!

Kiss-Black Diamond

but one can fade it out much sooner.......so it qualifies.

Heck....I was going to include 'Detroit Rock City'.....it rocks, it is epic (especially for a Michigander), and if one removes the radio intro...

Solence - Heavy Rain
I don't know how they can be so proud of winning with them odds. - Little Big Man

So many Pain of Salvation songs.

I was going to say Undertow but this answer seems fine

Just because you're winnin'

Flying Colors - Better Than Walking Away
Green Day - Brutal Love
Justin Timberlake - Cry Me a River
Linkin Park - Iridescent
Nightwish - Dark Chest of Wonders
311 - Sometimes Jacks Rule the Realm (song ends right at 5:00, before a secret song on the album)

I don't want MP playing with DT unless they were making a drummer change. If they let MM go and bring back MP, then fine, but no guest appearance please.

Not sure if anyone other than Ariich would like this, but the ending of Frank Turners latest album is just fucking great. It gives me such goosebumps.

I can't think of a single song for this thread.

I can, and one is hot off the press so to speak.

Amorphis - Nightbird's Song
Insomnium - Lilian

I imagined the story to go more like this.

I was sitting a traffic light blaring Space Dye Vest and next to me in another car was Kevin Moore. And I'll never be open again.

The first movement of Frost's Wonderland fits this description for me.  The piano doesn't kick in until 1 minute in, and the music stops at 5:45 or so.  Yes, the entire track is longer than that, but if you're looking for something that takes less than 5 minutes to hear something that qualifies as having an epic feel, this is what I think of.

A lot of really great suggestions in this thread, Wasteland by 10 Years is something I haven't heard in ages.

"Open Car" by Porcupine Tree is only 3:46, but it's sooo good!

I always loved the live version if the additional little breakdown section.

My submission is going to be Gordian Naught by Animals As Leaders, it's big, epic, and sounds like chaos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hw4BkF60o2U

bonus drum video if you're into that kind of thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpFnbgqHmjQ

I've been meaning to check them out.  Matt Guillory has mentioned them a few times.

I'm not sure if it totally fits the topic (and it's a little over 5 minutes), but Tesla's "Modern Day Cowboy" has a great ebb and flow and sound pretty epic to my ears.

One that comes to mind is "Goliath" by Karnivool.  So tasty.

For real.  That was the first one that came to mind for me.  I'll also add:

Queensryche: Screaming in Digital
Faith No More: Epic
Karnivool: Synops
Muse: Apocalypse Please, Stockholm syndrome
A Perfect Circle: The Outsider

I see what you did there...   :)

Kinda surprised more people didn't, honestly. :-\
