Do you think you could live with yourself?

Say for instance you were cloned today 100% exactly as you are and you had to live with your actual self. Do you think it would go smooth? Do you think you would you would get on your nerves? Do you think you would like living with yourself? Or hate it?

For me, could I live with myself? God no 

I'm a mental, eccentric whack job (slowing improving) who is constantly getting into 20 different things and can't sit still. I could see myself getting on my nerves, but who knows. I guess there's a reason why they say opposites attract, lol.

How about you guys?

Given I hate myself enough already, I can't imagine a tangible reminder of my many failings would improve my mood.

On a more philosophical level, the clone would cease to be me in the moment after its creation in any case. Since the self is the sum total of our experience and their experience would immediately begin to diverge (even if only slightly) its perfectly probable they could turn into an entirely distinct personality given enough time.

This is a hard answer, because the "no I couldn't's" seem drowned in self-loathing, and the "sure I could" might smack of arrogance or narcissism, but I probably could. I just don't get bothered by people all that much, so it doesn't matter who it is.  I lived with my now-ex-wife for almost five years after she lost interest in me, so there's that.

I also live alone and feel fine alone with myself... but I voted no because I feel like another person exactly like me would more than likely annoy the hell out of me with all the similarities.  Who knows though, maybe we'd be best friends

I'd tell my clone..."Let me worry about the spiritual consequences. You can do the things I can't do because of this." and would never see my clone ever again. 

Then it'd be neat to witness a played out "what could have been" scenario.

If it was just us two, I think we'd get along alright. Between college and being married, I've only had 2 roommates, and both of those were during pretty miserable periods of my life, so I spent most of my time in my room. Me and myself would probably do much of the same now. I doubt we'd hang out much, though it would be nice to have an occasional gaming partner.

I'd send my clone to all the boring meetings at work and whenever I wanna take a month off, me out clone in. I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Altough it's quite possible he would build some strong resentment towards me over time.
