I listened to mine again today and here's a couple of things I noticed;
- The flow in Part I is better than in Part II. On Part I, I'm actually really pleased with how it turned out, even despite the different kinds of metal (and other stuff) I managed to slam together. Although I'm still convinced all of the individual transitions work, the first few songs on Part II are stylistically a bit too different for it to be cohesive.
- I'm pretty sure I like every song on my album and that includes the ridiculously silly djent-breakdown that starts Part II. I do hope Pup treats this as an intro and not as a full song, because it might tank my score otherwise
- The story I sent Pup was pretty bare-bones and I forgot to call out a few specific things I had in mind with some songs, so if my story score taks, it'll probably be because of that. Again, this is mostly the first few songs in Part II.
- Should I have made it 117 minutes? Probably not, but that's how it ended up. And this is even with me cutting off intros and adding crossfades between tracks. The Spotify playlist was over 2 hours long.
- I accidentally cheated, but since Pup explicitly states it in the OP, I figure I'll be okay
