Allegaeon actually stands a strong chance of taking this thing so far, ngl.

Not if Lonestar has anything to do with it. :lol

Parthenogenesis was my second choice for the 2:30 and under round.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

My only issue with that track is it's too derivative of the original work, too much Bach, not enough Allegaeon, but that's just my personal opinion. It's no mistake they'd do this one, Burgess was initially a classically trained guitarist, and has chops equivalent to anyone out there on all fronts.

I just want Allegaeon to do more Rush covers... :metal

I peed next to Ian Mosley and Mark Kelly

Ain't gonna deny it though, there last album is a strong frontrunner for my AOTY. Never thought they could top Apoptosis but Damnum is a masterpiece.

Lonestar, not to be a dick, but this is bad form to slag a song before scores are presented.

Yeah yeah..."fuck that...." I know.

Tim, I've seen tons of people hating on songs before the scores, just look at any Steven Wilson/PT submission. Are you just butthurt cause it's your submission or what?

I've never really seen that, actually. And I'm not looking at any Steven Wilson/PT submission if I don't have to. :lol

And while it is my submission, I'm not butt hurt about it. I'd call out the bad behavior even if Chad sent it. OK, well maybe not, but if it was anyone else.. :lol

First impressions time!

Both tranquil and dramatic at the same time.

Amazing piano playing

There’s such a great upbeat vibe to this!

This thing hooked me from the start and didn’t let go!!

Some real nice guitar work here

Something about orchestras just takes epic and elevates it to a whole other dimension!

This was a little much for it’s own good.

I like how everyone gets a moment to shine in this one!

Upbeat and rocking with some great leads to boot.

This was amazing! Great playing from everyone in this one.

This is beautiful. Amazingly skilled lead guitar complimented by a really nice acoustic guitar in the backing.

I love the guitar tones on this one.

It would be easy to say great guitar playing, but that bass solo!

This one is actually really cool, I love how it keeps changing!

I do love a good bit of horn every now and then!

This feels like a jam session captured in the studio and if that’s the case, I wish I had been there.

Bringing a new definition of old school to this roulette and I’m all for it!

Some real nice keyboard work on display here!

My first thought for Classical Gas was "There’s such a great upbeat vibe to this!"

But then I wanted it to be "This feels like a jam session captured in the studio and if that’s the case, I wish I had been there."

But then I saw "I do love a good bit of horn every now and then!"

Prolly the last one.

Ok. I made a real bad mess of the hangman!

Correction 1: Vmadera00 sent Angel Vivaldi’s Sea of Heartbreak.
Correction 2: romdrums sent Challenger Deep - 100 Years
Correction 3: Yes, it’s Beyond God & Elvis, sorry Reaper.

I just figured that one was either Deep Purple or Duke Ellington.  Classical Gas doesn't sound old-school to me.
