Look, I sent it half asleep and it’s the first melody in my head as I woke up, so thought that meant something. As it is, Reaper has stated a hit and miss relationship with Maiden through Hell On Earth in round one, so it’s not exactly like playing a proven favourite.

Yeah definitely chill, it's all fine. Elite was just explaining why it's normally a rule, that's all - absolutely nobody is having a go at you for fairly playing within the rules.

So I thought about banning bands that were already played but ultimately decided against it. There are so few bands that I can think of that I like everything. Hell if you sent anything from dredg's last album (one of my favorite bands) you'd be getting a 1.5 or less.

If it matters to anyone, that's one of those rules that tries to address a very specific instance, and fails miserably because of the unintended consequences.  I get not being able to submit a band that scores a 5.0 and then floods the roulette with that band.  But so many bands have eras and/or differences that don't make repeated high scores a given.  Something off Scorpions Lonesome Crow is NOTHING like anything off of Blackout.  Maiden has three different singers and arguably four different eras, and each are different enough.  Sabbath, too.  Rainbow, Deep Purple.  I could go on.

@ Stads' post.  Agreed.  And that's often why hosts say anything that scores below average is still fair game for someone to take another shot at it.  Personally, I've got so many options of new bands to share, I don't see the need re-load and submit a sloppy second.  For instance, Broken might not have been the best choice for Teramaze being a low-key ballad.  I'm not gonna chance something else from them on the chance it really is a dud of a band for KK.  That's just me though.

I was waffling between pretty much every track, narrowed it down to Rager, Ukraine in the Membrane, and Mutually Assured Seduction, and settled on Rager. The album is so solid beginning to end
