The word "genius" gets thrown around way too much these days, but that isn't going to stop me from throwing it Gene Wilder's way.  That man was a genius.

Most of Mel Brooks's catalogue is gold, topped out by, IMO, Blazing Saddles.

Also in the genre, Airplane! is gold, as is Office Space.

Office Space gets my vote!  Modern classic.  :tup

Rumours abound that the Queen has bought it. If not already .... time is probably short.

My congratulations on predicting that a 96 year old would soon die. :p

So...can we expect a thread for King Chuck sometime soon?     After all, dude's already 73.

I predict that sometime in the next 20 or so years, King Charles III (Thanks XJ) will die.

Edit: I'm not magical or anything. I just have a gift.

King Charles III. ;)

Honestly, with his luck when it comes to the throne, wouldn't surprise me if fate decided he goes before his first year.

Speaking as a former death-pooler, it's actually surprisingly difficult. Plenty of people beat the odds, but the longer they hang on the less significance those odds hold. Lot's of people would do it, but betting on the world's oldest man or woman to soon die was a rookie move.
Argument, the presentation of reasonable views, never makes headway against conviction, and conviction takes no part in argument because it knows.

According to the UK life tables, 25-28% chance of dying before 97, and an average life expectancy of less than 3 years.
