Official Top 75 Rush songs Thread!!! (Top 2 revealed!!)

Sorry lads, random post in the middle of this conversation but threw Different Stages in the car today and this is a great set.  Another one I don't think I've ever listened to.

It's been quite a while for me, and I've listened to the third disc (from the AFTK tour) a LOT more often than the first two discs.  Probably time to revisit.

That's just keeping in line with the many submitted lists I have gotten with the same song listed twice. 

With only a future days left, no more Mr Nice Guy...any new submitted list now that lists a song more than once will be disregarded and not count towards the cumulative ranking, so, to anyone still looking to send one, proofread it before sending. 

You should keep all the lists but make any duplicate a vote for "The Great White North". 

That'd be a beauty way to go, eh!

Different Stages is such a great live album, and the third disc is really cool. Part of me wishes they would've gone just one year further and put a show from the Hemispheres tour instead since it had essentially the same songs as the AFTK tour (minus Cinderella Man) but with Hemispheres the song also.

I'd say at least two of them are from their debut (probably some combination of "Take A Friend", "Need Some Love", and "Before And After").

I’m having a hard time believing that last part. Between the first three albums, and some of the lesser liked songs from the 80s and 90s, and 00s, this is quite a surprise (though I may be filling in a bunch of the gaps with my list. Not all of them though!).

Definitely hard to say for sure, but yeah I'm guessing BU2B2 was one (finished in last place all 3 times I did the ranking website) and Rivendell was near the bottom too. Unless Ben votes for it, I'll guess the third song was ITIGB.

Thinking better, BU2B2 must be one of the 3. It's not terrible, but it sounds more like a segue than an actual song.
About Neurotica, it's impressive how just an annoying chorus can crush down the entire song. I think this also happens with Freeze from VP (I know many of you love this one).
Although I mentioned it, I think I like ITIGB more than half of first album and maybe more than some songs from RTB, VP and S&A.

I DID IT!!! What a labor of love that was. I even screwed up …sent in a list with a repeated song and things I forgot to edit…so I had to RESEND a new list.

In the end (no pun intended) there was a lot I really disliked about list #2, and felt that my first list was much closer to my feelings about the songs. But I did feel that list #2 did have about a small handful of songs that were better placed, so I used list 2 as a guide to retool list 1 and came up with a final list I was very pleased with.

Not too many spoilers….but I will say that all 19 albums are represented in the top 50, and ITIGB did make it into the final top 75.
