If done right, I like it. But I'm kinda iffy on this. Very "meh" on first listen and I don't know if I'd really be interested in giving it further listens to even see if it would grow on me or not. If it's representative of the album, at best I'll probably listen to a few of the tracks once and that's it.

Kind of sounds like a Porcupine Tree song with female vocals.  I could hear subtle Alex sounds but nothing stands out.
I hope him and Geddy get together and start writing songs for a new project. That's where the magic seems to come from.

As cool as that would be, I don't think that is likely to happen as it would invite too much comparison to Rush, and I'm sure that's what they wouldn't want.

Interesting. I actually enjoyed it a lot. I don't mind listening to Lifeson in a non-Rush mode.

I'm actually digging it. The first thing that came to mind is that the music reminds me of the Wisdom Of Crowds album that Bruce Soord and Jonas Renkse did several years ago. I absolutely love that album and if it bears similarity to that, then I'm in.

I love when established musicians make music they feel like making.

This is straight nowhere near anything similar to Rush, and I actually appreciate that Lifeson is choosing to explore an entirely different music style. This song reminds me of White Moth Black Butterfly and Hybrid.

Based on that description on the Youtube video, I am guessing the other songs will sound quite different as well. I am interested in the Neal Peart tribute, and Shadow.

Yep, Alex seems to like being on a weird trip outside of Rush.  He could be trippy within Rush, but with a way more cutting edge.  When he's outside of Rush, he sounds like he's on shrooms.. 🍄🍄🍄🤪
