Probably would have done the same, Molekularis Gepezetec (or however it's spelled) is better but Sacul would not like the black metal sections

Yeah, but I didn't want to go full-on black metal, so I went with something that's hopefully a little more up to Sacul's taste. I think I have heard Rengeteg and Sgurr, as well as Meta some years ago. I haven't listened to either of those recently though, just the one that was released last year.

a lot of sgurr doesn't even register as black metal to me, more classic heavy metal written in a proggy way that occasionally gets a bit thrashy
i don't like most classic heavy metal or thrash metal so that combination shouldn't work for me and yet

Rengeteg has a lot of that Hungarian folk, as does Vadak and I love that.
Fun fact, next to my city there's a village Sarvaš, reads as Szarvas (song on latest album). I'm near Hungarian border so it makes sense

It's funny that Sacul got both Cult Of Luna and The Ocean in the same round, those two bands have a lot of similarities especially the harsh vocals.

Truthfully, even I think my song is “a bit longer than it should be,” so I’m interested to know if Sacul agrees. I think it would have been a great 5 minute rock song if they had dropped the middle section (though I do enjoy the whole thing as is).

So I'm gonna go with either "not very interesting" to get that out of the way, or "this song is quite comfy," which would be the second time this roulette.

It's not the hopeful one. Tbh I didn't know what to say about your song so I thought to go with the comfy one as it felt somewhat accurate
