That's the whole point of the bonus point

Basically anything at a super high tempo, with tons of blast beats, shrieks/growls, super distorted guitars, a wall of sound, etc. Pretty much anything you'd label black / death metal, or that'd end up in "core" I guess. I was mostly thinking in metal subgenres but something like power electronics / harsh noise also counts as well.

Any classic prog rock from the 70s to the new prog acts of the 90s onwards, and any artists influenced by any of those. I make the distinction between prog (simply imitating and drawing heavily from their influences) and progressive (doing something quite different and having no other genre fit them). That round is geared towards the former, which I'm not a big fan of despite being on a DT forum

The piano version is far more powerful. Plus, as with most pop songs, I don't like the manufactured sounds of the original.
