Man, the California show for Coheed and Cambria is so dang far away.  It's in San Bernardino in what looks to be a pretty old-fashioned club/restaurant, not too far from the Joshua Tree park.  Way too far of a drive.  On a Wednesday as well.  Ain't happening for me.  Riverside was as far I was willing to drive.  If only they were able to play in the same place they had booked in 2020 before the shutdown.
Did they not just come through CA and do a major city? Just saw them come through Phoenix metro in October. I was surprised they announced another tour so quickly, but I believe a new album is coming soon.

They aren't coming near me, so maybe they are hitting up different markets

They did, but that was with The Used in Irvine.

I wonder how Disturbed holds up these days. I saw them open for Korn almost 20 years ago (jesus christ I'm old) and they were really good

I have seen Disturbed twice. Headlining the Rockstar Energy Drink Festival w/ A7X (featuring Portnoy on drums), Stone Sour and Halestorm on the main stage at a big amphitheater. Disturbed was the worst of the four and their set really bored me.

The second time I saw them was a few years later when they did this small club tour. It was a venue in Baltimore (Soundstage, capacity 1,000) and that show was intense. Had a great time.

I am not sure I would see Disturbed again in a large venue setting, but I would not pass up on a smaller club setting if they do that again.

If prices on secondary markets continue to drop at the price I want, I could see Shinedown at the Wiltern Theater on 01/28.  I haven't been there since Alter Bridge played there in 2020.

Floor is at $71.  GA Pit is at $84.  Quite a huge contrast on Ticketmaster where they have floor at $75.00 and GA pit at $147.00 (plus fees).

I've got shows coming up...

Two Neal Morse shows.
Bruce Dickinson's speaking tour
Transatlantic
I think I might go see Ace Frehley at a small club here in CT.

Couple others I want to see as well. Then Keith Urban over the summer; always a good time.

Have you seen Rival Sons, yet?  You're going to be thrilled, I think. I saw them open for Sabbath on "The End" tour, and they playedslayed.  Jay Buchanon is the real deal as a singer.  That guy smokes.

Oh damn, not sure why I thought May.  I already have my tickets for this, and not JP.  So JP is likely not where I am going.  That also comes down to them going 1 guitarist and not having Sabaton touring with them.  I think if I didn't have my tickets for Mammoth already I'd still lean to that show instead but if Sabaton was opening and JP had a more traditionally touring line up, it would make it a really tough decision.

Which one? None of the dates are really wowing me. And none of them are particularly close to you guys. I wouldn't mind hitting up Morsefest, but the idea of paying $375+TTL to sit in the back pew of Neal's church doesn't exactly thrill me.

I went to check In Flames and see what they've been up to and looks like they are playing with Megadeth, Lamb of God and Trivium. Contemplating if a 2 hour drive is worth the show  :metal

I think this show was supposed to happen in 2020 and got cancelled (if I remember correctly).

This is another leg of "the metal tour of the year" which I believe was originally scheduled for 2020 but did happen in 2021 but In Flames couldn't get into the country so they were replaced by Hatebreed.  Now it seems they are going to be able to get into the US and join for the second leg.  I'd go to the show again if it were close, but if you are going for In Flames, they will only get 30 minutes as the opener.  I would have much rather seen them than Hatebreed though

If I do go it would be for In Flames (I've seen live) and Trivium (Haven't seen live). Megadeth is a bonus and Lamb of God should be fun, but the 2 hour drive to PA is what I'm not sure about.

WOOOO.  Sevendust has announced a tour.  21st anniversary of Animosity (a lot of key songs from their catalog in that one.  Trust, Praise, Xmas Day, and the most known from them, Angel's Son).  Show in the Greater LA area is in the Anaheim House of Blues.  I'm there.  Haven't been at the HOB in a pretty long time.  Last time was when I saw Adelitas Way in the smaller room.
