edit: crap, I can't send The Great Misdirect? Well, that's kind-of a bummer. Everything afterwards is a) not as good and b) not memorable enough to me to be able to pick out two songs right now
Strongly disagree. For me, everything from Parrallax II onwards is better than eveything before.
My favourites from BTBAM are Colors and The Great Misdirect. I really enjoy the Automata albums, but the other three (Parallax, Coma Ecliptic and Colors II) kind of blend together in such a way that I don't know which song is which and can't recall any good parts. I feel like I must add that I'm also less familiar with those three albums.
I think familiarity makes a big difference with all of BTBAM's music. A lot of their albums are a whole work where the individual songs have less of their own identity, but e.g. that's definitely the case with Colors but if you know it really well, things standout more. They do have a few albums with more distinct songs though (TGM and Automata in particular, and Parrallax II and Coma Ecliptic are maybe somewhere in between). But for me that doesn't affect how much I like them.
