I was going off of TAC being a fan of the songs that tell a story in the UFO thread. I orginally was going to send Broken Homes, but when my score tanked I decided to go with the song that I prefer off the album. Both are sad songs, but I Am Your Father is so powerful.

Side note: Neal wrote this song in his pre-Beard days when he had another band. He actually invited all of the members of that band to perform on the version he recorded for this album. Pretty cool backstory.

No concept on It's Not Too Late (maybe a loose one based on the quote I just found). It was a bunch of older songs that Neal had laying around and he finally decided to record them. Just so happened that many were not the happiest. Ah, taken right from his website:

"It's Not Too Late" is a fine collection of songs about loss and renewal.

Broken Homes is pretty bleak and self-explanatory. Leah is about a mother abandoning her young daughter. You get the picture.

So I was just listening to Entrance, and Neal's vocal reminded me a bit of Matt Smith. Knowing their religious styled music, I thought it would be awesome if they worked together.
