I read about them on their 3rd album in a magazine and went out and bought their discography right away.

The Kindness of Strangers is the Spock’s album that, to me, is their most consistent, and is usually the album I go to if I want to listen them.

Same. I wish the production were better on it, but the songs are all strong and it doesn’t have anything that I skip, whereas most of the others tend to have at least one song I don’t love.

This was pretty rocking and I loved the Deep Purple-ish outro.
Starts off as Styx, ends as DT. I don’t remember the middle.

Two listens through. Have scratched together a rough ranking. I usually start that on the second listen though it does remain quite fluid. Nothing is set in stone at all at this point. But I think it's fair that a couple of tiers of songs have emerged.


And I must be the only fogey sitting at home doing nothing on a Saturday night because the First Impression guesses have been extremely slow tonight.

Possibly... though my thought is At The End of the Day (edit... except that's already been identified).  If not CtBS, then perhaps Harm's Way - though the outro is nothing too special (imo).
