You are remarkably consistent.
Didn’t wow me, but there was one particular aspect I liked a lot.
I’m sure I’ve heard this before, but hadn’t appreciated how good it is.
Dark, atmospheric - not sure I took it all in on first listen but I liked it.
Quite enjoyable, but I’m not sure it goes far enough in doing what it does.
This was pretty much comparable to what I’ve previously heard from this artist.

Well, I've said it twice already, so no need to hammer the point home again. 

But man, what a hot take.  You got some stones.  It could just pan out though.

I just found it funny that a lot of you acted as I predicted but no one made the connection. 

PS: I like Roth and Hagar VH equally and I tried to make a playlist for both eras but it just didn't work, they were too long or had missing some essential tunes, so I settled with Van Hagar, as I think it's more accessible. We'll see how it goes.

The bold is correct, and yes Guardians of the Galaxy was definitely somewhere I've heard it before.

To be clear, there are 6 submissions of artists I've heard a reasonable amount from before (though not always whole albums). Yours is not, in fact, one of those.

But in light of Buddy's and Kwyji's posts, the other 5 people who sent me artists I've heard before will need to guess more precisely than that if they think it's one of those.

No I didn't. Fuck that. I picked an 80's pop song (Alone...it was on the Billboard charts...which is where I got the idea) and I decided to go with Heart. There was no band that I had that I could even send without just picking some fucking random band, which I eventually did.

Nice.  KD albums are an intense journey.  Great stories with many twists and turns.  As I said he's rather polarizing at first but grows massively.  Helps that the guitar work and musicianship is top notch.

Nothing out of the ordinary, but quite enjoyable.
Nice variety of styles - some I loved, others I’m not sure about yet.
A nice and varied listen - reminded me of one of your previous submissions.

One of these for Prince?  I can see maybe feeling a Styx vibe in some of the tunes.  If not these, I hope I'm remarkably consistent.

@ Tim... When you play ball, and you're own fucking team calls you for a foul, you know you've been caught.  Keep doubling down though.  It's a good look.

If you're digging any of it, find one of the later (meaning more recent) live versions of Alone; they tend to be more sparse, and Ann sings her butt off on those.  Also, check the song "Wait For An Answer"; probably my single favorite vocal performance ever.  The song blows, but it's worth it to hear her sing.

Basically some of us fogeys made a gentlemen's agreement to send pop tunes this round. Tim was gonna send Blondie, but since he's near the top of the scoreboard and doesn't have a set of stones, he changed his mind.

It's all quite funny for a couple of reasons.
 - I've been sent a fair bit of pop already, and some of it scored well. Or did that not count because it was good pop?
 - No comment on the quality and I can't speak for each artist's wider work, but the fogeys including Tim have all sent me stuff that's pretty equally poppy (EDIT: which isn't actually that much).
