EDIT: And here's the updated impressions quoted for the new page:
Round 2 first impressions

Like most submissions so far in this genre not every track is killer, but the good ones are great.
One track was a little bland, but the rest was really nice and that voice is just full of emotion. [Luke – Van Morrison]
Intricate and kind of dramatic - will take a few listens to get my head round it, but I liked it. [HOF – Premiata Forneria Marconi]
Sounds really good, and cool to hear how this relates to what came before it and after it.
One of the better submissions so far in this genre - very rich sonically and melodically.
Struggling to think of anything else this sounds like… unexpected and quite excellent. [Nekov – Serú Girán]
Some of this felt a little tame, but I liked it when there was more energy or emotion.
Love the variety - some of it dragged a little but other parts were deliciously quirky. [Buddy – Frank Zappa]
I’ve not heard this artist before but this is exactly what I thought they’d sound like.
Maybe not ariich-fodder, but this was pretty rocking and I like the guitar work. [wolfking - Thin Lizzy]
Some songs were more immediate than others, but it all sounded intriguing.
Some of this was great, and the vocals helped with the less strong parts. [TAC – Pat Benetar]
The sort of thing I’d probably love live, but is still pretty good on record.
My enjoyment of each song depended on how much I liked the vocals.
I can see why this is popular, but I’m not sure I find it that exciting.
I rather like this - it’s upbeat but has an oddly emotional edge to it.
Very similar to another submission, and comparable in quality. [Puppies – Candlemass]
More interesting than most of what I’ve heard from this artist. [Evermind – Jethro Tull]

Ariich is a freak, or somehow has more hours in the day than everyone else.
I be am boner inducing.

Some of this was great, and the vocals helped with the less strong parts. [TAC – Pat Benetar]

I'll take this as positive, certainly.

I wonder about the less strong parts. I'm thinking In The Heat Of The Night. That would be the one song I really debated including. I figured it presented a bit of a change of pace. I think it's a cool and song that really sets the mood. There's a number of musical changes within it that I think are interesting, adding much more to it than a standard ballad style track.

Unless you thought Don't Let It Show was "less strong" but that is indeed an amazing vocal.

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Huh....that would've been the last one I'd have picked tbh...Ray Davies I always thought was pretty consistent as a vocalist, unlike the singer for our house band here lol. I'm guessing you're more referring to his diverse stylings in vocals. I'll find out soon enough I guess lol

The Cars always seemed to be dismissed as a light-weight band, radio-friendly, synth-rock.   But Ocasek's lyrics were always a step or two deeper than they seemed.

I can't express how thrilled I am - regardless of the score I get - that you picked up on the emotional aspect of their music.   I don't listen to them much anymore, but they are one of my favorite bands and there are times when I just need a "Cars" fix.  It is the kind of music that brings me to another place and time (we used to have to drive to the next town for hockey practice in high school, and when I was a freshman and sophomore, this older kid would let me ride with him because I was one of the few that liked his music:  The Cars, Squeeze and Bob Seger.  Those were good times.)
