Well, so much for early retirement.
Well, you only get to do something like this once.*
Never noticed this open invitation thread before, but congrats! And that's pretty cool to have that band play at your wedding.
Indeed, just keep in mind we do need to get everyone on the list, so if you are interested let me know and I'll get you added so you can RSVP!
Yaaaaaas!
Mother/son dance song, which I still need to finish deciding with my mother is the only real piece of music left outstanding.
Piano music for the cocktail hour is set as are the main sets for the reception. It's going to be a grand time!
And a reminder for those traveling, Sunday-Tuesday after the wedding we're setting aside for those who are traveling and want to spend more time with us or in the area. So if you want to do something let me know and we'll plan something up.
My GF and I were looking at stuff to do in Allentown. We're attending a wedding and spending the night in Rhode Island the day before, so we're probably going to have just the Sunday.
There's a Model railroad museum I want to check out, and we'll probably hit an art gallery before heading back. Are you saying the wedding rate on the room is good for Sunday and Monday nights as well?
Also, any chance you can edit the OP to keep a list of who on the board has RSVP'd?
For Sunday, we figured that's when most people might still be around, was considering booking an escape room or something like that for that day. I've passed the art museum 235346456 times but have never been. Not done the model train museum either.
Classic case of never doing the stuff in your own backyard. I certainly might be interested in the latter though.
As for the hotel, our rate has some rooms for Friday night, and more for Saturday night. That said they suggested for people with longer stays call the hotel and they should be able to work with you.
I'll try and get that list together for all the DTF folks.
*Your mileage may vary.
