Thanks again everyone for the good wishes and those who have reached out to hopefully attend. It's my hope that in about two weeks we have the RSVP system live and ready and can get everyone the proper e-invite.

And as we're early in the process, and I honestly don't know if the info is public or they want to be recognized, a huge thanks to whoever kickstarted our honeymoon fund. That was really unexpected and greatly appreciated. And now we know it works at least!

Is there a link to said fund?

It's in the honeymoon fund portion of our website: http://www.theknot.com/jennieandnicholas

Posting this here since this bunch is the biggest folks who will actually appreciate this.

So most of you probably know the reception band is going to be Joe Deninzon & Stratospheerius, and some of you certainly have seen them at ProgStock over the years.

For the wedding they are bringing in a keyboard player to help play, well, the many songs that will demand it. Joe just updated me that on keyboards and vocals will be...

Bob Richardson of Cell15. I know that's not some extraordinary huge name, but I've really enjoyed the performances of him that I've seen.

Yaaaaaas!

Mother/son dance song, which I still need to finish deciding with my mother is the only real piece of music left outstanding.

Piano music for the cocktail hour is set as are the main sets for the reception. It's going to be a grand time!

And a reminder for those traveling, Sunday-Tuesday after the wedding we're setting aside for those who are traveling and want to spend more time with us or in the area. So if you want to do something let me know and we'll plan something up.

My GF and I were looking at stuff to do in Allentown. We're attending a wedding and spending the night in Rhode Island the day before, so we're probably going to have just the Sunday.

There's a Model railroad museum I want to check out, and we'll probably hit an art gallery before heading back. Are you saying the wedding rate on the room is good for Sunday and Monday nights as well?

Also, any chance you can edit the OP to keep a list of who on the board has RSVP'd?

Well, you only get to do something like this once.*

Indeed, just keep in mind we do need to get everyone on the list, so if you are interested let me know and I'll get you added so you can RSVP!

For Sunday, we figured that's when most people might still be around, was considering booking an escape room or something like that for that day. I've passed the art museum 235346456 times but have never been. Not done the model train museum either. :lol

Classic case of never doing the stuff in your own backyard. I certainly might be interested in the latter though.

As for the hotel, our rate has some rooms for Friday night, and more for Saturday night. That said they suggested for people with longer stays call the hotel and they should be able to work with you.

I'll try and get that list together for all the DTF folks.

Oh Snap.  I forgot to do so.  Yes Nick, the Queen and I will be there.  I got screwed though.  We can only make the wedding.  My backup and his family rented a place on a lake for 2 weeks so we are driving up Friday noonish and driving home the Sunday after the wedding.

I'll go on and RSVP tonight.
