With nine of the total thirteen votes, the band's debut album places third! This works out just fine since these top two albums are my personal top two Transatlantic albums as well, but I think I may have to vote off The Whirlwind, as much as I love it.

Coming up on Tuesday, along with the beginning of the Finals, I'll also be running the TA Covers Survivor, which will include all of the cover songs they've released on their studio albums (special editions), but not their in-studio jam session covers (sorry, no "And I Love Her", "Oh! Darling", "Honky Tonk Woman", or "Smoke On The Water" by Transpacific - they all went out first the last time I ran the covers, so I figured I'd spare everyone the trouble).

This is a difficult choice to make. Bridge Across Forever and The Whirlwind are so great, they would both be in my Top 10 favorite albums of all time. TW has one 10/10 song while BAF has four 10/10 songs, but The Whirlwind being 77 minutes of perfection is something very admirable on its own, and in a song ranking it would probably beat at least two of the songs on BAF. I think I'll go with Bridge Across Forever just because I listen to that album more than The Whirlwind, so my vote will go to The Whirlwind. But I could just as easily vote off Bridge Across Forever; it's that close.
