That's awesome research.

I'd be curious to see the numbers for West Coast teams playing at 10AM PST/1PM EST, as I think that's a whole different animal than playing in the late afternoon or on Prime time.

I suspect you're correct, but that was more than I had in me.

I on the other hand had it in me. I started from 2010, when the NFL switched the paired teams in each West division so east coast teams wouldn’t be forced to make four west coast trips in one year (like what happened to the Jets and Patriots in 2008 when they played in San Diego, Oakland, San Francisco, and Seattle in the same season). I also started the Rams from 2017 when they moved back to LA. I included the London games since all of those games that feature a West team start at 10:00amPST/PDT. Here are the 10:00am standings.

1) Los Angeles Rams: 10-3 (.769)
2) Seattle Seahawks: 22-14 (.611)
3) Los Angeles Chargers: 18-19 (.487)
4) San Francisco 49ers: 20-23 (.465)
5) Las Vegas Raiders: 19-33 (.365)

So their winning percentages basically match what their overall percentages have been over that span?

Time of year and conditions play a factor as well.  Now that LV and both LA teams are in a dome, put them in the Northeast when cold and wind are a factor (like the Chargers in Baltimore yesterday) and they'll wilt more than they have in the past.

That also explains why the Seahawks have such a good win percentage with a bigger sample size than the Rams. The Pacific Northwest gets chilly and rainy, so they’re used to some of the bad weather that we get out here in the east.

Quite a few seemingly good choices this week. I might have taken Stafford and the Rams to destroy Stafford's former team, but I just took the Rams.

I'll take the Cardinals in a game that Hopkins and Watt likely have had circled since the schedule came out.

I can't pick the Bengals either.  On the other hand, I'm the only one left who hasn't picked either the Bucs or Cards yet.  Unfortunately, both of them have games that are anything but slam dunks.

I have a couple good options available, so I'm gonna take a couple days to ponder.

That Bengals loss knocked out 3 of us! I had misgivings about that pick, but only for about a second. I mean, c'mon... who had the Jets winning that game?!

I am still doing well in the Pick 'em, another factor in me following the NFL. Without these two competitions my interest wanes about 25%.

Thinking about than Manning-Cast for MNF, I wonder if other sports will follow suit. Maybe a Barkley/Shaq NBA telecast?

My third time in four years as one of the two finalists.  In '18, I fell short to Dr. DvDT in Week 13 or 14, to TAC in '19 in Week 10, and now this year.  I won't mention getting bumped in Week 2 last year......

Anyhoo.....

The funny thing is that, when I posted that I was picking the Colts, I avoided looking at whom you had picked.  I kinda thought I was making a bit of an unusual pick.  Then, after hitting the "post" button, I saw yours and was a tinge disappointed.

Oh well...think of it as a bye week.

The particular Sunday game I was going to wait for was the Cowboys over the Broncos, but didn't think Cooper Rush would do a late magic trick two weeks in a row.  As is, Prescott and the rest laid an egg, and I was able to relax thanks to the Colts.  Otherwise...... <phewwwww>.

Had I not gone with Indy, the other two games I was looking at were Raiders/Giants (would've lost) and Ravens/Vikings (would've won).

Looks like my worthy competitor made a pick, but I haven't seen it and won't look while I ponder what I'm going with this week.

Well, it truly hurts when it is YOUR team that knocks you out of these things.  The Ravens looked worse than the 3-5 team they easily could have been coming into tonight's game.  Six plays of 50+ yards given up in the last three games.  170 net yards offensively with seven minutes left.  Ouch!

Should have picked the Steelers. ;)

Go, Panthers!!!

I turned the game on shortly before halftime (after the Kings game against Ottawa was done).  What a stunning game!

So...this is immediately where my mind goes:  what happens if I also lose?  Are we declared co-champs, so do we call it a push and try again next week?
