Nearly finished my third listen through. I'm one of those people who's ear is generally drawn to the drums and guitars of any song. The vocal melodies and chorus lyrics might sink in after a few listens but there are some of my favourite songs where I don't even really know the lyrics.

That being said, I know that when I do look up the lyrics to a song it often helps me connect with the song even more. I'm going to try to do that for all of these songs, which is easier know as Spotify generally has the lyrics for most songs.  Of course to do that I need to do a more dedicated listen and just sit with these songs, doing nothing else.

For anyone who sent an instrumental, prepare for the lowest score of the round

If you use the mobile app and swipe up it reels off the lyrics as you go. It seems like they updated it all fairly recently as loads of obscure songs have the lyrics now, whereas it used to just be the mainstream hits.

To be fair I've not actually listened to it. I did however support a kid in my old job, who only wanted to listen to Michael Buble songs at Christmas, so I kinda can't stand him.

The guitar work really draws my ear in this, I've come to expect nothing less from you.

Not sold on these vocals but the song shreds.

Ohhhh something I might be able to singalong to. The whole package is really cool but the vocals really help propel it.

I think mine is one of these three.  The first one relies on you knowing more about me than I'd have thought, I'm worried it could be the second because I don't have much of a basis of comparison based on artists you know, and the third is closer to my personal vibe of the song.
