No idea where this recommendation came from as this album was probably added to this Spotify playlist a few years ago, but holy shit!

This is really cool. It's the only time I've heard a band mix death metal, with a middle Eastern twist, whilst paying homage to Dream Theater.

I totally have to check this out. I have it "saved" because I read at some point it's a great prog-death album, but I don't think I ever listened to it...

Dreamcrusher Incinerator: for some reason I came across this album again and holy shit, it clicked hard with me. It's like being immersed in the loudest, noisiest, most hardcore rave of your life. I need more of this.

The Microphones The Glow, Pt. 2: wow, I was familiar with their last album, but never gave this one a listen, and damn, I can see why it's a classic. Lo-fi, sometimes calm, sometimes noisy af, it goes on and on and never stops being awesome. Very layered stuff.
