Stortregn was a surprise last year, really good stuff.
I remember why I Saved that album now. I'm pretty sure I watched a drum playthrough video from a song on the album, and I was blown away.
Nile are impressive, although I can't say I was ever able to
truly get into them. I guess I enjoy them in relatively small doses. But, yes, as far as death metal drumming goes, they've always been incredibly well-endowed...Derek Roddy was guesting on their second album, then George Kollias, I think starting from Annihilation...quite a monster in the genre....
