I loved their song My Sacrifice when I was a wrestling fan 2 decades ago. Still dig it.

Yeah sweet!

Their debut My Own Prison was recommended to me by my local brick and mortar guy (you know, back when the retail folks would get to know their customers, he did it with quite a few the old 'Hey have a listen, I think you'll like these guys mate' also most notably for Charon The Dying Daylights)...
 
Anyway thanks to that was well and truly a fan by the time of Human Clay and being blown away by that sophomore is an understatement.

Back in 01/02 we hit Melbourne and saw Creed live for the Weathered tour and that decision was VERY much inspired by Sevendust being the support. This was their Animosity period and was set to be the show of all shows for me personally, but unfortunately Sevendust cancelled a week out due to the tragic passing of Lajon's brother so wasn't to be...  Creed were great though \m/

Anyway, you'll get no argument from me, Creed rocked!

ETA IMO Is This The End and To Whom It May Concern were two of their finest tunes neither of which featured on their albums proper!

Now listening to Hans Zimmer doing the Dark Knight Trilogy medley live. The part from Dark Knight Rises, Deshi Basara, just proves that the man knows how to go metal underneath his scores.

Threads of Fate - The Cold Embrace of the Light - have you heard this Tim? Some death vocals and rhythms on it but not too many. Some beautiful melodic stuff too. I really enjoyed it.

Yes! That came out last week, right? I listened to a couple of tracks and it's very nice. I have it Saved on Spotify and I have to go back and finish it.

Rush - Clockwork Angels

Mostly this album just suffers from being too one note. It's all kind of heavy and sludgy aside from Halo Effect and The Garden, and those songs still somehow manage to be really sludgy sounding. But I think the songs in general are pretty strong. Just wish there were a bit more variety and crisper production.

Also, I love Pete Gill's drumming on Orgasmatron. It's easily my favorite Motorhead album. I wish that lineup made another album together.
