Man, I'm loving this. It's got the heaviest riffs I've ever heard on an Andrew WK album.

It's like a sci fi 80s synth record, featuring Devin Townsend style riffs whilst also channeling some Meatloaf vibes! It's great

The first 3 parts are amazing and gorgeous, some of his best output. 4 and 5 are unlistenable, and 6 I only care about the final track, which gives me goosebumps.

Yeah I don’t find 4 and 5 unlistenable, in fact 4-6 are my favorites. Really dark and creepy stuff but still weirdly relaxing imo.

Your description is spot on and the songs are dangerously catchy

Agreed that the vocals take a little getting used to. A few cool guitar solos too (Digital Paradise!). The hooks here are huge - a song like Tidal Wave is practically a pop song, and a brilliant one at that (but with a great Maiden-esque short break after the first chorus!)
