It was the Delight and Despair EP. I used An Absolute Severence in a roulette or two and it scored pretty poorly.
Honestly, I never knew they released another album. I'm on it!

Steve Vai - Inviolate. Early impressions are that this could be my favourite Vai album, and the album I wanted him to make. More straight forward but clearly still full of Vai weirdness and melodies only he hears.

Quick judgement a couple of listens in...it's very good, but not quite as good as Waves. It's more or less cut from the same cloth, but not as immediately striking. And it doesn't have one "Lead Wings"

I'm looking forward to further listening, though...I think this might be a grower...
