Here we go with the first round for The Absolute Universe, which will run for 3 days! Neal just announced earlier today that they will be playing all of TAU for Morsefest 2022 next Spring, and according to the graphic he posted, it seems they will be doing the Ultimate Mix Version of the album!

Love Made A Way. The listener had been beaten over the head with the main themes before this track even begins, and as discussed a lot since the album's release, they just didn't stick the landing.

On day 1 everyone was praising Solitude and Pete's vocals. What happened?

Went for the Overture cos it's not as well-composed as Morse's other overtures. It doesn't flow as well.

Solitude is one of the better written songs on the album, Pete's vocals on the one song don't bother me (a whole album would.) I think the real offense from this song is the sticking in of other TAU themes where they aren't needed, not every song needs to have reprises of some/all the main melodic themes of the album. However, it was not going to be one of my choices for a while, would be a shame to see it go so early.

I still really like Solitude, and I don't mind Pete's vocals. At all.
