TAC would report me to Bosk if I didn't mention the outro solo on Tonight, by Ozzy (Randy Rhoads solo).
A personal favorite is Dave Navarro's solo on
Three Days, by Jane's Addiction. Starts about 4:40 and goes for about a minute or so, then breaks into a very Alex Lifeson-like figure, then picks back up around 6:05, and really hits stride about the 6:30 mark. He's made his name for other things, but for me, Dave Navarro is a legit top ten guitar player. I saw them and like a dork I pushed my way up to the front row to stand in front of him as he played that crescendo part at about 7:45. EPIC.
John Spinks (RIP) in
The Outfield's "Every Time You Cry" (About 2:45).
Too many to offer by Elliott Easton, the secret sauce of so many great Cars songs.
