Well, there are different kinds of "retro" I suppose. 80's throwbacks (or actual 80's music) might do well. Stuff that utilizes chiptune and other retro video game aesthetics is right up my alley.

I think my round 2 submission hits the "futuristic" sound you are looking for.....hopefully. It's definitely not retro sounding.

If Tachi is too repetitive for your tastes then I think a lot of electronic music is probably not going to be entirely your thing.

But from what I can gather based on the first round results, I get the impression it's more about the track not having much of build-up, which I can appreciate. So I'll definitely try and factor that in to future submissions.

I'll admit repetitive electronic music it's quite an acquired taste, took me a while to get used to it, but it makes sense once it clicks, mostly on a club
