Kind of off-topic but is that Liquid Trio Experiment album worth listening to? I loved the vibe of some of the improv-y songs from 1 & 2 and could go for more of that sound.

I really enjoy it, but it doesn't seem to be very popular around these parts.

Just pre-ordered the Artbook from Laser CD. $42.40 including shipping.

That is likely the route I'll be taking although I may wait a few more weeks.

I finally caved and put my preorder in (at Laser CD). I ended up going with thr 2CD/1BD artbook. As much as I'd like the the box set with its artcards and poster, I don't really collect or need vinyls, and I don't have any place to put the poster anyway.

At least I only spent $42.60 after tax and shipping for it, so that's exciting. I enjoy artbooks a lot, too, so it'll be nice to flip through the pages of photos and, hopefully, liner notes about each song like they did with the first two albums. I'm just happy it's coming in less than two months, which will hopefully be plenty of time to digest the new Transatlantic album(s).

I don't think anyone here is on the fence about buying this album, but if you are, give yourself a chance.

Can't wait to listen to the bonus album!!!

That was a fun interview/podcast. Make sure you stick around to the very end of the video to see Mike's final sequence for their Rush compilation.

I kind of wish they went a bit more in depth about the recording and writing of the LTE3 album, though. I could tell they were being careful not to stir the pot about Mike and DT too much, but John did bring up Post-Portnoy DT a couple of times. I still find it funny that MP has used John's studio twice before MM did for DT15.

Yeah Beating my odds was not as good as last single. It feels like this is more Portnoy style song with a vibe from Neal Morse Band. No progression and no  cool new fills from Mike.
some parts fra presence and dark eternal but quite boring. We need more.

Just checked the new song out and it sounds like it could been one of the instrumental sections off of Systematic Chaos, it had a Ministry of Lost Souls vibe with a touch of Dark Eternal Night.

I really liked the song, I feel like I'm having the opposite reaction to most people in the sense that I really like these tracks more than anything off of LTE1 and LTE2.
