I did a Van Halen cover
« on: November 18, 2020, 05:34:13 PM »
With the death of EVH, my old singer and I (the one from this thread: https://www.dreamtheaterforums.org/boards/index.php?topic=55672.0) decided to pay tribute to Van Halen with a cut from the first album, Feel Your Love Tonight. I managed to find a copy of Alex's actual original recorded drum track to play against. I found an isolated bass track, transcribed it to tab, learned it, then recorded all the guitars, bass guitar, and backing vocals, then sent it to him for vocals. It's not perfect and we're damn sure not EVH and DLR, but damn was this fun to do!

Bitchin.
I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down'. - Bob Newhart

So wait, we're spelling it wrong and king is spelling it right? What is going on here? :lol -- BlobVanDam
