Yeah, this was sad but expected news. I had read somewhere about a month ago that he decided after his third round of chemo that he didn't want to keep fighting what was clearly becoming a losing battle. So he ended treatment, which, of course, gave him a HUGE burst of energy for about a month until the disease came roaring back. For a guy of such an advanced age he was still sharp as a tack and they recorded the last episode of 'Jeopardy!' with him just a few weeks ago. If he never developed this cancer he might have continued hosting that show at least a few more years.
