Dream Theater the League – 2021

Hello friends! After having off for 2020 (what a yeah, huh?) the DT League will return to a Polls and Survivors forum near you very soon.  We will be going back to the Division format to ensure a somewhat level playing field. Division 1 shall consist of the Top 32 songs from the 2019 season. Division 2 will be songs 33-64. Division 3 shall consist of songs 65-93, and the top 3 songs of the “Play in Tournament” that will be completed in advance of the 2021 season.

Once the 2021 season begins, we will have a 20 week schedule followed by album tournaments, and 16 song tournaments for each Division. Also, the Top 4 Songs from Divisions 2 & 3 will be promoted to the next highest division while the bottom 4 songs from each division will be regulated to the next lowest division or removed from the league back to the outsiders. The winner of the Division 1 tournament will be crowned the 2021 League Champion!

For A Change of Seasons, I'm not sure how to describe it because I tend to have a hard time trying to describe what is my favorite song ever made, and what I'd consider to be the greatest song ever made.
As for the other two, I would say "shy of perfection". I'd easily put Metropolis Pt. 1 into the "masterpiece" category, but I've listened to it so much that I'm burned out on it so it has gone down my rankings in some ways.

The first tiebreaker shall be season long vote differential for each song (Votes for minus votes against). Other tiebreakers will be applied at season’s end if necessary, with any head to head victories taking priority.

The top 16 songs at season’s end advance to the Division 2 Championship Tournament, where the final four songs shall be promoted to Division 1. The songs that finish 29th-32nd will be regulated to Division 3.
