Okay, we've finalized our list of twelve participants, so here are the matchups! They'll also be in the OP.

These were chosen completely at random. I assigned each participant a number and had an RNG produce random sequences. I paired the adjacent numbers together, and I generated sequences until I had four that did not repeat any matchups.

Round 1:

Ah, no, they're not elimination rounds. After round 4, then the top 4 or so players will go into a playoff. But the first four everybody is guaranteed to be in for.

I'm not sure I know what synthwave actually sounds like. I think maybe it's like the EP Cyril sent me a couple of roulettes ago? If so, you can see my thoughts on that EP here. I don't have much experience with music in that style besides what I heard there, but there was definitely some stuff I liked.

for round 1 i sent just about the best album i possibly could and definitely the best that i should it's honestly all downhill from here
