Sorry, I was asleep! I'm back and Elite, Luke and Katt are in. I have one person in my PMs who offered to be in if I need someone to make it an even number, and sit out otherwise. Since we're at 11 right now, I'll give it a couple more hours to see if anyone else is burning to join, and if not I'll add that person and post the matchups.

Personally, I thought it would be more fun to have the matchups known in advance. It might impact some people's strategies in a way that is interesting. I also plan to post the matchups for all four rounds as soon as the participant list is finalized, so that it's all transparent from the outset and I can't be accused of messing with the matchups based on round results.

So if you haven't sent because you're waiting to see your opponent, that's absolutely fine! And you should know in a few hours.

To add to the shit-talking, and to generally spice things up, I'm thinking about adding a game after hangman where everyone tries to guess who will win each matchup. You'd get a point for each correct prediction, and at the end there'd be a winner for who was most accurate. That way you're in someone's corner on every matchup. Sound interesting?
