I'm about to be mildly internet famous.

Well, at least my drum kit is, anyway:

Quick backstory: I'm a Sales Engineer at Sweetwater, and I was asked to submit a picture of my drum kit to  YouTube drummer Casey Cooper, who is a big fan of our company, to review.  My kit is right at the beginning of the video.  For those interested, Nick D'Virgilio's kits are in there as well.  My kit is a DW Collector's Series Pure Purpleheart Kit with Sabian cymbals.

Or he was a drummer with particularly great range of motion.

The shells are DW’s Pure Purpleheart.  They sound great!

Oh nice! I also have a DW kit. I've had it for a long time now. It has the Pure Birch shells. I love the sound of the birch. Although I just replaced my snare with one of these https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/DRVC6514SVC--dw-collectors-series-snare-6.5-inch-by-14-inch-concrete

I’ve got one of those as well.  I love it.  It’s definitely not as gimmicky as it would appear to be.  It records really, really well, and has a surprisingly wide tuning range.  I need to use it more often than I do, but I’ve really been digging the Ludwig Bronze Beauty that I grabbed a few months ago (and is in the picture in the video).  That thing sings.  I swapped out the triple flange hoops on it for some die cast hoops and it really helped to focus the sound.
