Without sarcasm, I actually like Nattens Madrigal, because it's so ridiculous. I find it way more enjoyable to sit through than almost every other black metal album I have ever heard (which on the grand scheme of things, aren't that many to be honest).

I haven't forgotten about this, nor do I wish to cancel the roulette. I've just been busy with a ton of different other things (nothing serious/important, don't worry about me) and the roulette has become lower priority, admittedly. I want to return to this, I just need the time and motivation to get back to actually doing it. Setting aside the time to listen to the music isn't a problem, but rather I've noticed that after listening to a lot of the submissions for Round 5, I've had no idea what to really say about some of the music, even just as a first impression. Maybe I've just gotten too burnt out to really focus on the submissions in a critical light, or maybe it's something else that I don't even realize. I'm sorry for failing to keep up a good pace with this roulette.

You could get hangman set up in the meantime.

Then for write-ups, maybe keep them simple this time. I always have a hard time describing music and for my roulette I mostly stuck with how I felt about the songs.

You could maybe start by jotting down what you think of the vocals for a song as you listen to it, and maybe if there's something that sticks out - a solo, a chorus, etc, note that. Maybe add a mood or emotion or something like that. Is it heavy, light, beautiful, boring, etc.

Yeah, you sent for Round 5. There are two people who haven't sent, but I'm not waiting for them to send to continue; I just want to do this when I feel more motivated to do so (which I will try to come back to this sooner than later).

By the way, just to clarify, I did see this back when Lethean posted it. I will be sure to keep this in mind for when I resume Round 5, though I'd rather start the Hangman once I get back into this, just so I don't make it seem like I'm properly resuming my progress and then there's another gap in waiting for first impressions, results, etc..

I'd been planning to get back to doing the final round for a couple days now; looks like I have the extra push I needed! I probably was going to start getting back to this tomorrow, but better to say it now anyway. Hangman will go up tomorrow for those interested, and first impressions will go up once I get through all the artists for the first time. This roulette was always something I wanted to do, and I intend to see it through to completion. I can't promise that I'll be as efficient as I was in Round 1 (such high motivation and energy like that is very rare for me), but I will make an effort to go through these submissions and get the proper results out before way too much time passes.
