I give Tai Shan credit for its uniqueness, even if it’s not really a great song. Whereas something like The Speed of Love is so painfully average that I can’t imagine even the band having any excitement over it while writing/recording it.

 In spite of the bands dismissal of the song, I actually find there to be a lot of heart in Tai Shan. I don’t even consider it the worst from that album (that would be High Water)
