Not the first thing we (and others) immediately thought of when seeing this on NASA's Fbook page   :lol

"The Hybrid Air Vehicles Airlander 10, initially known as the HAV 304, is a hybrid airship crafted by the British company Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV). This unique aircraft features a helium airship structure along with supplementary wing and tail components. It utilizes a combination of aerostatic and aerodynamic lift principles for flight and is driven by four ducted propellers powered by diesel engines."

Definitely spam. Somebody or something is hijacking dormant accounts and using them to post spam links. That same link was posted in the DT forum.

I spent a few minutes looking at the engine hoist picture, and it really does keep getting worse. Those are actually propane canisters from forklifts at the base of the whole thing.

What gets me about that picture is that ignoring everything the ladder is on, for better support (and stability) the ladders should be turn 90 degrees.

I think it's actually rather impressive.  Sure, it's insane to do that in the first place, but it looks like it got the job done.  Redneck ingenuity.

Hmmm. I suspect you're probably right, but I see why he put them like that. Clearly he's thinking about the added surface contact, which I can understand. Makes sense at first. However, that added surface contact increases the risk of the ladders tipping inward. The flipside is that if you rotate them 90° you increase the risk of the 2x8 tipping one way or the other. You have to figure with the way the beam is sagging the contact point is only a fraction of what's "over" the ladder.

Upon further reflection, rotate the ladders 90° and then drop the beam down one step so it's caged in. It'll still fail catastrophically, but it'll perhaps give you another second to run for the hills.

Yeah, I mean, it's wild and stupid, but I'll give some props for making it work.  I've had my share of doing questionable (not that bad) things to get something done at work before that would make people really think twice about what I was doing, but it worked and got it done.  Sometimes just got to make due with what you have.

Ok...so Rogue is the one with the white streak in her hair, the other is Captain Marvel. Brie Larson in the original Captain Marvel got rolled for having no ass as seen in the pic to the right. Rogue's power is she's able to absorb other mutant's powers. The top pic of Rogue is from the early xmen animated show and she's got a thick ass. In the new series she has none. The joke is she used her powers to absorb Brie Larson's ass.
